A pesar de que ya dejó de llover y la nieve disminuyó, los problemas climáticos continuaron este Jueves en gran parte del sur de California después de casi una semana de tormentas implacables.

Aunque el tráfico estaba despejado en gran parte del área, muchos lugareños se mantenían alejados de las carreteras o atrapados en sus casas, las autopistas resbaladizas por la lluvia provocaron pesadillas para quienes condujeron, incluido, el cierrede la autopista 5 en Newhal, que tuvo por muchas horas varios vehículos completamente detenidos.
